Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2000 a collector was able to acquire the work Baiting a Hook by Adam Emory Albright for USD 2,585.00 (€ 2,708.22). This price was achieved in the auction American Paintings at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adam Emory Albright achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Young Fishermen in October 2007 with an auction result of USD 40,000.00 (€ 27,647.22).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2000 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Baiting a Hook von Adam Emory Albright für USD 2.585,00 (€ 2.708,22) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion American Paintings bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Adam Emory Albright erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Young Fishermen im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 27.647,22).
