Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Ad Dekkers achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in May 2019. In the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction, the work Each: Untitled (Line Drawing) sold for EUR 5,625.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ad Dekkers achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dutch Reliëf Met Afgeschuinde Blokjes - Relief With Bevelled Blocks in June 2008 with an auction result of EUR 108,750.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ad Dekkers erzielte im Mai 2019 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Each: Untitled (Line Drawing) für EUR 5.625,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ad Dekkers erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dutch Reliëf Met Afgeschuinde Blokjes - Relief With Bevelled Blocks im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 108.750,00.
