Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2007 Sothebys in Milan held the auction 19th Century Paintings and Sculpture, which included the work Arrivo Dei Pescatori Al Molo by Achille Dovera. The price achieved of EUR 9,600.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Achille Dovera - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Avenida 3 De Febrero, Buenos Aires, which sold at auction in November 2007 for USD 34,000.00 (€ 23,148.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2007 führte Sothebys in Mailand die Auktion 19th Century Paintings and Sculpture durch, in der auch die Arbeit Arrivo Dei Pescatori Al Molo von Achille Dovera zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 9.600,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Achille Dovera mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Avenida 3 De Febrero, Buenos Aires beobachtet, die im November 2007 für USD 34.000,00 (€ 23.148,15) versteigert wurde.
