Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Achille Buzzi could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in January 2011 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Old Master & 19th Century European Art auction, the work In The Harem changed hands for USD 3,750.00 (€ 2,734.23) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Achille Buzzi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Necklace, which sold at auction in October 2006 for USD 9,600.00 (€ 7,515.85).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Achille Buzzi konnte im Januar 2011 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Old Master & 19th Century European Art wechselte die Arbeit In The Harem für USD 3.750,00 (€ 2.734,23) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Achille Buzzi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Necklace beobachtet, die im Oktober 2006 für USD 9.600,00 (€ 7.515,85) versteigert wurde.
