A top price for Achille Buzzi - as previously expected
In October 2006 Christies in New York held the auction Orientalist Art, 19th Century European Art, which included the work The Necklace by Achille Buzzi. The price achieved of USD 9,600.00 (€ 7,515.85) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Necklace is the most expensive artwork by Achille Buzzi that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Oktober 2006 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Orientalist Art, 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Necklace von Achille Buzzi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 9.600,00 (€ 7.515,85) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist The Necklace das teuerste Kunstwerk von Achille Buzzi, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
