The work The News by Achille Buzzi was auctioned at Christies in New York in October 2006. The price achieved of USD 9,600.00 (€ 7,515.85) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The News is the most expensive artwork by Achille Buzzi that we have observed at auctions so far.
