In the Important Silver, Objects of Vertu and Russian Works of Art auction, the work Russian Peasant Woman Drinking Tea sold for USD 186,700.00 (€ 152,035.83) - well above the upper estimate of USD 100,000.00. Admittedly, works by Abram Arkhipov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Peasant Woman In A Red Dress in December 2015 with an auction result of GBP 905,000.00 (€ 1,228,946.50).
