This artwork by Abram Arkhipov achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in November 2014. In the Russian Paintings auction, the work Home From Market sold for GBP 278,500.00 (€ 350,151.39) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 150,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Abram Arkhipov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Peasant Woman In A Red Dress, which sold at auction in December 2015 for GBP 905,000.00 (€ 1,228,946.50).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Abram Arkhipov erzielte im November 2014 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Russian Paintings wurde die Arbeit Home From Market für GBP 278.500,00 (€ 350.151,39) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 150.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Abram Arkhipov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Peasant Woman In A Red Dress beobachtet, die im Dezember 2015 für GBP 905.000,00 (€ 1.228.946,50) versteigert wurde.
