Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Village Women On Sunday by Abram Arkhipov was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2005. The price achieved of GBP 48,000.00 (€ 71,139.03) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Abram Arkhipov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Peasant Woman In A Red Dress in December 2015 with an auction result of GBP 905,000.00 (€ 1,228,946.50).

Die Arbeit Village Women On Sunday von Abram Arkhipov kam im Juni 2005 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 48.000,00 (€ 71.139,03) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Abram Arkhipov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Peasant Woman In A Red Dress im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 905.000,00 (€ 1.228.946,50).
