Die Arbeit The Satyr and the Peasant von Abraham Willaerts kam im Juli 2011 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 4.000,00 (€ 4.590,60) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 33%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Abraham Willaerts erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ships Moored Off A Rocky Coastline With Fishermen Unloading Their Catch im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 86.500,00 (€ 102.074,99).
