In the Important Old Master Paintings, Part I auction, the work A Roemer And A Façon de Venise, Oranges In A Wan-Li Kraak Porcelain Bowl, An Oyster, Grapes And A Knife On A Table sold for USD 108,000.00 (€ 85,551.33) - well above the upper estimate of USD 60,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Abraham van Beyeren; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Still Life With Wine Glasses sold at auction in January 2007 with the realized price of USD 144,000.00 (€ 110,786.27).
