In May 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Masters, which included the work Still Life With Fish On The Beach At Egmond by Abraham van Beyeren. The result of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,445.62) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Abraham van Beyeren achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Life With Wine Glasses in January 2007 with an auction result of USD 144,000.00 (€ 110,786.27).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Mai 2017 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Masters durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still Life With Fish On The Beach At Egmond von Abraham van Beyeren zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 3.000,00 (€ 3.445,62) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Abraham van Beyeren erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Still Life With Wine Glasses im Januar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 144.000,00 (€ 110.786,27).
