Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Grapes, pomegranates and peaches in a silver tazza, oysters on a pewter plate, a façon-de-venice glass with white wine, a glass of beer, a lemon and a bread roll, on a partially draped marble table by Abraham van Beyeren was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2016. The price achieved of EUR 30,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Abraham van Beyeren - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Still Life With Wine Glasses, which sold at auction in January 2007 for USD 144,000.00 (€ 110,786.27).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Grapes, pomegranates and peaches in a silver tazza, oysters on a pewter plate, a façon-de-venice glass with white wine, a glass of beer, a lemon and a bread roll, on a partially draped marble table von Abraham van Beyeren kam im November 2016 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 30.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Abraham van Beyeren mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Still Life With Wine Glasses beobachtet, die im Januar 2007 für USD 144.000,00 (€ 110.786,27) versteigert wurde.
