Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Peaches, grapes, a wineglass, an oyster and a piece of bread, all on a partially draped marble ledge by Abraham van Beyeren was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2012. The price achieved of EUR 12,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Abraham van Beyeren have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still Life With Wine Glasses in January 2007 with an auction result of USD 144,000.00 (€ 110,786.27).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Peaches, grapes, a wineglass, an oyster and a piece of bread, all on a partially draped marble ledge von Abraham van Beyeren kam im November 2012 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 12.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Abraham van Beyeren auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Still Life With Wine Glasses im Januar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 144.000,00 (€ 110.786,27).
