Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2008 Sothebys in Amsterdam held the auction Old Master Paintings, which included the work A Still Life With A Roemer, A Peeled Lemon, Bread, Roses On A Pewter Plate, An Orange And Cherries, All On A Draped Table by Abraham van Beyeren. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 30,250.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Abraham van Beyeren - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Still Life With Wine Glasses, which sold at auction in January 2007 for USD 144,000.00 (€ 110,786.27).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2008 führte Sothebys in Amsterdam die Auktion Old Master Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Still Life With A Roemer, A Peeled Lemon, Bread, Roses On A Pewter Plate, An Orange And Cherries, All On A Draped Table von Abraham van Beyeren zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 30.250,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Abraham van Beyeren mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Still Life With Wine Glasses beobachtet, die im Januar 2007 für USD 144.000,00 (€ 110.786,27) versteigert wurde.
