Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work A blue and white porcelain bowl with fruit, a 'façon de Venise' of white wine, a leg of ham on a silver platter, a silver jug, a pocket watch, a silver plate with a peeled lemon and a crab all on a partially draped table by Abraham van Beyeren was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2007, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 50,000.00 – 70,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Abraham van Beyeren - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Still Life With Wine Glasses, which sold at auction in January 2007 for USD 144,000.00 (€ 110,786.27).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit A blue and white porcelain bowl with fruit, a 'façon de Venise' of white wine, a leg of ham on a silver platter, a silver jug, a pocket watch, a silver plate with a peeled lemon and a crab all on a partially draped table von Abraham van Beyeren im November 2007 bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus.
