Als die Arbeit A blue and white porcelain bowl with fruit, a 'façon de Venise' of white wine, a leg of ham on a silver platter, a silver jug, a pocket watch, a silver plate with a peeled lemon and a crab all on a partially draped table von Abraham van Beyeren im November 2007 bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus.
