Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite and British Impressionist Art, which included the work Juliet At Her Balcony by Abraham Solomon. The price achieved of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 10,293.13) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Abraham Solomon - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Ballroom in the Year 1760 "Now let the youth to whose superior place, which sold at auction in March 2021 for GBP 25,250.00 (€ 29,662.25).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite and British Impressionist Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Juliet At Her Balcony von Abraham Solomon zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 10.293,13) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Abraham Solomon mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Ballroom in the Year 1760 "Now let the youth to whose superior place beobachtet, die im März 2021 für GBP 25.250,00 (€ 29.662,25) versteigert wurde.
