Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Abraham Rutgers - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Skaters on the Vecht in winter, with a slanting tree in the foreground, which sold at auction in July 2014 for GBP 302,500.00 (€ 381,547.61).
