Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 182,500.00 (€ 139,996.93) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 150,000.00 – 200,000.00. Admittedly, works by Abraham Palatnik have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sequencia Visual S-51 in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 785,000.00 (€ 576,951.34).

Die Arbeit Progressão 42-A von Abraham Palatnik kam im November 2010 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 182.500,00 (€ 139.996,93) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 150.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben worden.
