In May 2021 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included this untitled work by Abraham Palatnik. The result of USD 25,000.00 (€ 20,501.89) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Abraham Palatnik achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sequencia Visual S-51 in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 785,000.00 (€ 576,951.34).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Mai 2021 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Abraham Palatnik zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 20.501,89) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Abraham Palatnik erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sequencia Visual S-51 im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 785.000,00 (€ 576.951,34).
