Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sorting the catch; Boats in an estuary, a pair each 20.3 x 30.5cm (8 x 12in). (2) by Abraham Hulk was auctioned at Bonhams in London in April 2021. The price achieved of GBP 5,355.00 (€ 6,159.81) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Abraham Hulk have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dutch Barges In A Calm in October 2007 with an auction result of EUR 50,650.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sorting the catch; Boats in an estuary, a pair each 20.3 x 30.5cm (8 x 12in). (2) von Abraham Hulk kam im April 2021 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.355,00 (€ 6.159,81) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Abraham Hulk auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dutch Barges In A Calm im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 50.650,00.
