Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Abraham Hulk could be acquired at Bonhams in London in April last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the The Marine Sale auction, the work Dutch fishing boats offshore; Fishing boats at anchor, a pair each 20.3 x 30.5cm (8 x 12in). (2) changed hands for GBP 3,825.00 (€ 4,561.18) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Abraham Hulk achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dutch Barges In A Calm in October 2007 with an auction result of EUR 50,650.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Abraham Hulk konnte im April letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion The Marine Sale wechselte die Arbeit Dutch fishing boats offshore; Fishing boats at anchor, a pair each 20.3 x 30.5cm (8 x 12in). (2) für GBP 3.825,00 (€ 4.561,18) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Abraham Hulk erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dutch Barges In A Calm im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 50.650,00.
