Auction result well in line with expectations
In October this year Bonhams in London held the auction The Marine Sale, which included the work Sailing boats by the shore, a pair by Abraham Hulk. The price achieved of GBP 4,096.00 (€ 4,703.35) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Abraham Hulk achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dutch Barges In A Calm in October 2007 with an auction result of EUR 50,650.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion The Marine Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sailing boats by the shore, a pair von Abraham Hulk zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.096,00 (€ 4.703,35) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Abraham Hulk erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dutch Barges In A Calm im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 50.650,00.
