Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A coastal landscape with Dutch fishing vessels in a choppy sea by Abraham Hulk was auctioned at Bonhams in London in April last year. The price achieved of GBP 2,295.00 (€ 2,736.71) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Abraham Hulk achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dutch Barges In A Calm in October 2007 with an auction result of EUR 50,650.00.

Die Arbeit A coastal landscape with Dutch fishing vessels in a choppy sea von Abraham Hulk kam im April letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.295,00 (€ 2.736,71) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Abraham Hulk erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dutch Barges In A Calm im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 50.650,00.
