This artwork by Abraham Bosse achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in June 2004. In the Old Master, Modern and Contemporary Prints auction, the work The Five Senses sold for GBP 5,736.00 (€ 8,536.89) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,500.00. This high result makes The Five Senses the most expensive artwork by Abraham Bosse that we have observed at auctions so far.
