Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 1,785.00 (€ 1,773.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Abelardo Morell achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Detail of Book Damaged by Water, 2001 in October 2016 with an auction result of USD 30,000.00 (€ 27,367.27).
