Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Shulamith by Abel Pann was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in December 2010. The price achieved of USD 31,250.00 (€ 23,551.13) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Abel Pann - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Geschwister in Winterlandschaft, which sold at auction in June 2021 for EUR 93,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Shulamith von Abel Pann kam im Dezember 2010 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 31.250,00 (€ 23.551,13) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Abel Pann mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Geschwister in Winterlandschaft beobachtet, die im Juni 2021 für EUR 93.750,00 versteigert wurde.
