Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2010 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Modern Art, which included the work Paysage Des Hauts De Vetheuil by Abel Lauvray. The price achieved of EUR 1,275.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Abel Lauvray - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Avignon, which sold at auction in March 2007 for GBP 2,880.00 (€ 4,239.03).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2010 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Paysage Des Hauts De Vetheuil von Abel Lauvray zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.275,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Abel Lauvray mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Avignon beobachtet, die im März 2007 für GBP 2.880,00 (€ 4.239,03) versteigert wurde.
