Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Bord De Seine À Vétheuil by Abel Lauvray was sold in the Modern Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in March 2020. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,170.00 17% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Abel Lauvray - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Avignon, which sold at auction in March 2007 for GBP 2,880.00 (€ 4,239.03).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Bord De Seine À Vétheuil von Abel Lauvray wurde im März 2020 in der Auktion Modern Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.170,00 und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Abel Lauvray mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Avignon beobachtet, die im März 2007 für GBP 2.880,00 (€ 4.239,03) versteigert wurde.
