Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sails by Abdulrahman Al Soliman was auctioned at Sothebys in London in October 2019. The price achieved of GBP 17,500.00 (€ 20,298.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Abdulrahman Al Soliman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Saudiworshippers Leaving The Mosque in October 2018 with an auction result of GBP 137,500.00 (€ 155,057.58).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sails von Abdulrahman Al Soliman kam im Oktober 2019 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 17.500,00 (€ 20.298,74) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Abdulrahman Al Soliman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Saudiworshippers Leaving The Mosque im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 137.500,00 (€ 155.057,58).
