Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction 20th Century Art / Middle East, which included the work Nap by Abdulrahman Al Soliman. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 55,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 60,480.00 (€ 67,157.88). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Abdulrahman Al Soliman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Saudiworshippers Leaving The Mosque , which sold at auction in October 2018 for GBP 137,500.00 (€ 155,057.58).
