Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Drying The Nets) by Abdulrahim Apabhai Almelkar was auctioned at Sothebys in London in October 2015. The price achieved of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 5,245.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Abdulrahim Apabhai Almelkar - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Udaipur Landscape, which sold at auction in March 2015 for USD 17,500.00 (€ 16,292.71).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Drying The Nets) von Abdulrahim Apabhai Almelkar kam im Oktober 2015 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 5.245,31) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Abdulrahim Apabhai Almelkar mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Udaipur Landscape beobachtet, die im März 2015 für USD 17.500,00 (€ 16.292,71) versteigert wurde.
