Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2021 Artcurial in Marrakech held the auction A Moroccan Spring, which included the work Racines Vertes, 2007 by Abderrahim Yamou. The price achieved of MAD 15,600.00 (€ 1,368.87) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as MAD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Abderrahim Yamou - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Molécule G2, 2021, which sold at auction in December 2021 for MAD 50,000.00 (€ 4,726.98).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2021 führte Artcurial in Marrakesch die Auktion A Moroccan Spring durch, in der auch die Arbeit Racines Vertes, 2007 von Abderrahim Yamou zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von MAD 15.600,00 (€ 1.368,87) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit MAD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Abderrahim Yamou mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Molécule G2, 2021 beobachtet, die im Dezember 2021 für MAD 50.000,00 (€ 4.726,98) versteigert wurde.
