A top price for Abderrahim Yamou - as previously expected
The work Molécule G2, 2021 by Abderrahim Yamou was sold in the African Contemporary Art, Modern & Contemporary Art auction at Artcurial in Marrakech in December 2021. The result of MAD 50,000.00 (€ 4,726.98) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of MAD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Molécule G2, 2021 is the most expensive artwork by Abderrahim Yamou that we have observed at auctions so far.
