Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Composition, 2005 by Abderrahim Yamou was sold in the A Moroccan Spring auction at Artcurial in Marrakech in May 2021. It changed hands for a price of MAD 16,900.00 (€ 1,482.94) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of MAD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Abderrahim Yamou - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Molécule G2, 2021, which sold at auction in December 2021 for MAD 50,000.00 (€ 4,726.98).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Composition, 2005 von Abderrahim Yamou wurde im Mai 2021 in der Auktion A Moroccan Spring bei Artcurial in Marrakesch versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von MAD 16.900,00 (€ 1.482,94) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von MAD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Abderrahim Yamou mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Molécule G2, 2021 beobachtet, die im Dezember 2021 für MAD 50.000,00 (€ 4.726,98) versteigert wurde.
