Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled (Bird On Tree) by Abanindranath Tagore was sold in the South Asian Art auction at Christies in Mumbai in December 2013. Here, the upper estimate of INR 1,200,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for INR 1,250,000.00 (€ 14,696.28). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Abanindranath Tagore achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Siva-Simantini) in September 2013 with an auction result of USD 555,750.00 (€ 410,602.14).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Bird On Tree) von Abanindranath Tagore wurde im Dezember 2013 in der Auktion South Asian Art bei Christies in Mumbai versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von INR 1.200.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für INR 1.250.000,00 (€ 14.696,28) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Abanindranath Tagore erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Siva-Simantini) im September 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 555.750,00 (€ 410.602,14).
