It achieved a price of USD 9,375.00 (€ 6,593.29), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 34%. Admittedly, works by Aaron Shikler have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cathy At Easel in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 85,000.00 (€ 54,627.25).

Die Arbeit The Green Shawl von Aaron Shikler kam im September 2007 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 9.375,00 (€ 6.593,29) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 34%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Aaron Shikler auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cathy At Easel im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 85.000,00 (€ 54.627,25).
