Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait of John F. Kennedy by Aaron Shikler was sold in the Property from the Estate of Mrs. Charles W. Engelhard auction at Christies in New York in March 2005. The price achieved of USD 6,000.00 (€ 4,626.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Aaron Shikler achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cathy At Easel in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 85,000.00 (€ 54,627.25).

Die Arbeit Portrait of John F. Kennedy von Aaron Shikler wurde im März 2005 in der Auktion Property from the Estate of Mrs. Charles W. Engelhard bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.000,00 (€ 4.626,42) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden.
