The »bidding war« ended at USD 8,400.00 (€ 6,476.98), 68% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Aaron Shikler have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cathy At Easel in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 85,000.00 (€ 54,627.25).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 8.400,00 (€ 6.476,98) und damit 68% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Aaron Shikler auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cathy At Easel im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 85.000,00 (€ 54.627,25).
