Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work St. James Park, London by Aaron Bohrod was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in May 2021, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for USD 1,275.00 (€ 1,045.60). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Aaron Bohrod achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Street Car Riders in May 2021 with an auction result of USD 27,812.50 (€ 22,808.35).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit St. James Park, London von Aaron Bohrod im Mai 2021 bei Bonhams in New York versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für USD 1.275,00 (€ 1.045,60) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Aaron Bohrod erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Street Car Riders im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 27.812,50 (€ 22.808,35).
