In August this year Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction American Art Online, which included the work Curiosity by Aaron Bohrod. The »bidding war« ended at USD 3,200.00 (€ 2,952.30), 28% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Aaron Bohrod have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Street Car Riders in May 2021 with an auction result of USD 27,812.50 (€ 22,808.35).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 28 % übertroffen
Im August diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion American Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Curiosity von Aaron Bohrod zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 3.200,00 (€ 2.952,30) und damit 28% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Aaron Bohrod auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Street Car Riders im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 27.812,50 (€ 22.808,35).
