Auction result well in line with expectations
The work La Route Bleue by Adolphe Mouron Cassandre was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 17,804.39) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Adolphe Mouron Cassandre - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work GRANDE QUINZAINE INTERNATIONALE DE LAWN-TENNIS, which sold at auction in June 2015 for GBP 30,000.00 (€ 42,299.62).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit La Route Bleue von Adolphe Mouron Cassandre kam im November 2015 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 17.804,39) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Adolphe Mouron Cassandre mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit GRANDE QUINZAINE INTERNATIONALE DE LAWN-TENNIS beobachtet, die im Juni 2015 für GBP 30.000,00 (€ 42.299,62) versteigert wurde.
