Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Uncommon Way by A Hai was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in March 2015. The price achieved of HKD 200,000.00 (€ 24,020.11) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 160,000.00 – 220,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by A Hai - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Liao Ting, which sold at auction in May 2015 for HKD 475,000.00 (€ 55,734.95).

Die Arbeit The Uncommon Way von A Hai kam im März 2015 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 200.000,00 (€ 24.020,11) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 160.000,00 – 220.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von A Hai mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Liao Ting beobachtet, die im Mai 2015 für HKD 475.000,00 (€ 55.734,95) versteigert wurde.
