Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sandy Beach by A Hai was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Chinese Art auction at Sothebys in Beijing in December 2015. The price achieved of CNY 141,600.00 (€ 20,133.57) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CNY 120,000.00 – 200,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by A Hai - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Liao Ting, which sold at auction in May 2015 for HKD 475,000.00 (€ 55,734.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sandy Beach von A Hai wurde im Dezember 2015 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Chinese Art bei Sothebys in Beijing versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CNY 141.600,00 (€ 20.133,57) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CNY 120.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von A Hai mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Liao Ting beobachtet, die im Mai 2015 für HKD 475.000,00 (€ 55.734,95) versteigert wurde.
