Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 5,938.00 (€ 4,368.10) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by A. Duncan Carse achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Skiing in the Alps in November 2018 with an auction result of GBP 50,000.00 (€ 56,398.48).
