»It will be a personal journey through my work and my creations«, says Georg Brandner, explaining his open pilgrimage studio. The much-traveled artist, who has explored every continent except Antarctica, is inviting gallery owners, collectors and art enthusiasts to his studio: From November 16 to 18, he would like to thank his long-time companions, intensify contacts and present new works. The trained glazier and self-taught artist Brandner, who participates in the Art.Salon artist program, has maintained an international gallery network for many years, and his artworks have been exhibited in over 20 countries to date.

The unique collages and symbolic works made of glass reflect impressions and experiences that have shaped Brandner's travels. In his studio, in front of his painting altar or the glass furnace, Brandner draws on his memories and gives them their final form. The artworks speak a powerful, universal language that transcends man-made cultural and artistic boundaries and appeals to a more differentiated view of the world.

On the Pilgrimage Days, the studio in Niklasdorf is open from 2pm to 7pm; other times can be arranged by telephone. On 15 November, Brandner is also organizing a pilgrimage event with live music for invited guests from 6 pm.Art.Salon

London, Tate Britain

It was one of the most moving decades in the history of the United Kingdom: the 1980s, characterized by strikes, protests and AIDS. Photographers documented this period and in some cases became political activists themselves through their images. The exhibition The 80s: Photographing Britain opens on November 21 at the Tate Britain in London.

Guido Klumpe

It is in the context of functional architecture in urban spaces that Guido Klumpe finds the motifs that he stages with his camera as the poetry of the profane. His picturesque images unfold an opulent effect with a reduced formal language, showing us the beauty of the moment in the flow of everyday life.
