Even though the Discovery Art Fair Frankfurt is only five years old, it has already established itself as an important fair for contemporary art in the centre of Europe. It is known for its communicative atmosphere and its flair for up-and-coming positions: Many of the works exhibited in past editions are now in renowned collections and museums. This year, from 4 to 6 November, over 120 exhibitors will be presenting cutting-edge works in Hall 1.2 at the Frankfurt Exhibition Centre.

The fair organisers are sticking to their previous focus: innovative photography and urban art, which have been gaining in reputation among collectors and museums for several years. In addition to the programme of galleries, there is also a forum that invites discussions on new ways of presenting and marketing art. The Discovery Art Fair Frankfurt is one of three sister fairs. The other two take place in Berlin and Cologne.Art.Salon

Till Schermer

Is our personality just an illusion? Till Schermer's paintings open up a new perspective on the fragmented human psyche. In intense, sometimes disturbing images, the artist presents the protagonists of our mental society - perhaps the start of an adventure for one's own mind.
