Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2018 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Calligraphy by Zou Lu. It changed hands for a price of HKD 47,200.00 (€ 4,980.35) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zou Lu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Seven-Character Poem in Running Script, which sold at auction in October 2013 for HKD 184,000.00 (€ 17,460.64).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2018 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy von Zou Lu zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 47.200,00 (€ 4.980,35) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Zou Lu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Seven-Character Poem in Running Script beobachtet, die im Oktober 2013 für HKD 184.000,00 (€ 17.460,64) versteigert wurde.
