In May 2018 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online, which included the work Calligraphy by Zou Lu. The auction ended at the price of HKD 10,000.00 (€ 1,092.54), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 8,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zou Lu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Seven-Character Poem in Running Script in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 184,000.00 (€ 17,460.64).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Mai 2018 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy von Zou Lu zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 10.000,00 (€ 1.092,54) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 8.000,00 – 10.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zou Lu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Seven-Character Poem in Running Script im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 184.000,00 (€ 17.460,64).
