Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2003 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Modern and Contemporary Chinese Paintings, which included the work Drunken by Zou Chuan'An. The price achieved of HKD 53,775.00 (€ 5,600.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zou Chuan'An - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Lotus, which sold at auction in May 2005 for HKD 114,000.00 (€ 11,871.73).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2003 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Modern and Contemporary Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Drunken von Zou Chuan'An zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 53.775,00 (€ 5.600,29) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Zou Chuan'An mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Lotus beobachtet, die im Mai 2005 für HKD 114.000,00 (€ 11.871,73) versteigert wurde.
